
I’ve been asked several times about mixing some Cambodian music, it’s work in progress and I promise to complete a special mix in the future. Please stay tuned and thanks for the interest and encouragement. I guess you could call this mix eclectic. I kick off with a little drum and bass and drop in some memorizing electronica. Meandering though some broken beats, I bounce in some 4/4 with a few layers of deep and funky bass and round it all off with some wobbly dubstep. I hope you enjoy it.

Be transported through time and space with beautiful music from Indian tabla master Qureshi Alla Rakha Khan. Alla Rakha was born in 1919 and became fascinated with the sound and rhythm of the tabla at the age of 12. Drifting across the globe and spanning decades in between, I chose the infamous Zakir Hussain to wind down the mix with more aural interpretations of the desert.
