Artist: Lmd64

Profile
Lmd64, otherwise known as Liam Dunne has been producing electronic dance music since 1994.
Initially, his output was quirky, melodic chillout/big beat in the vein of Air, Kid Loco and St Germain with strong 50's/60's/70's influences, sampling the likes of Nancy Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix bootlegs and Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, amongst others.
Lately, he has been veering more towards funky house and jazz breaks, again with much usage of samples, disco synths and snappy beats. Using a combination of laptop-based sampling and hardware synths, he has produced a diverse range of music, from jazzy dance beats to funky electro.
Influences include Mr Scruff, Ennio Morricone, Lemonjelly, Mylo, Bent, Lalo Schifrin, Air, Kid Loco, Dimitri from Paris and Pepe Deluxe, amongst others.
Lmd64 has performed live at various venues around Ireland, including opening at Mor Festival in Charleville Castle, Tullamore in August 2005, performing at Hospital at New Years Eve 2005 in Temple Bar Music Centre, and also in Traffic as part of Invisible Agent's showcase at DEAF'05, and at D.U.M.B. in Ice Bar, also part of DEAF'05. He has also played at Lazybird in the International Bar and at several of the Remote Viewing Workshops in Conways.
In the past he has played along side/supported Corrugated Tunnel, Channel-1, Halfset, Chymera, Nina Hynes, FancyGoods, Sarsparilla, Donnacha Costello, Dave Donohoe, Candie Hank, Loose Electrix DJs/Debasser, Formica, Lackluster and 2-BiT.
